Biography

Alice’s background is in archaeology with a focus on illustration, digital survey and visualisation. Her research interests lie with the use of digital reconstruction as an interpretive tool for archaeology, focussing in particular on blending digital data capture with creative practice. Her role within the team at the 3DVisLab builds upon her creative skills as a reconstruction artist together with her practical knowledge of 3D digital survey technologies to explore new avenues in environment and architectural visualisation.

Alice holds an MA Hons in Archaeology from the University of Glasgow, an MSc with distinction in Archaeological Computing from the University of Southampton and, having successfully defended her PhD thesis in June 2014, a doctorate in Archaeological Visualisation from the Glasgow School of Art.
